Il est coutume de dire qu'un individu se révèle plus en situation où il est en contexte inconnu. Qu'il s'agisse là d'une expérience souhaitée ou non, un élément universel demeure: une réaction s'opère dans chaque changement. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'en comprendre complètement les répercussions, c'est plutôt d'en saisir l'énergie qui est ressort, d'en produire un langage visuel et poétique qui évoque un champ lexical universel.
La série the botanical topographies s'inspire de la végétation et du territoire. Elle traite de la notion de présence et d'absence et comment celles-ci sont étroitement liées dans le maintien d'un équilibre.

It is often said that being in an unknown environment, for example when travelling, gives a new perspective. It could be a welcomed or unwelcomed experience but there is one universal thing that remains: a reaction occurs to every changement. It is not necessary to for everyone to understand every detail. It’s actually more helpful to create an object that, for everybody, has a universal symbolism.
the botanical topographies' series is inspired by vegetation and the territory. It deals with the notion of presence and absence and how these are closely related in maintaining a balance.
